Looking For Calm

Kripalu opened something up for me- like a floodgate really and I am trying to listen. I have more questions than answers and I am attempting to be mindful about my steps forward. What are my intentions…why is this resonating with me…how do I see myself incorporating this into my life? Regina said so many wise things on Thursday. It is not simply about helping people. What am I searching for in my teaching and learning? How do the social and emotional needs of children impact their day to day learning and being? How can I best be a conduit for them? For teachers who have stresses of testing, grading, TAS goals, master educators, behavior management, too many kids, too many learning styles, not enough training, parental demands, administrator asks etc…
Listen well…be an active learner… Search out people like Jennifer Jordan that you can compare notes with- ask questions of- admit failings to.
Take time to be still and find moments to listen in. Follow your heart.
